This well cared for and comfortable Victorian House is ideally located in a residential area, close to the city centre and the many attractions and venues that Southampton has to offer. Off street parking is available at our guest house. 
All our bedrooms have modern en suite shower rooms and are well equipped to help you enjoy your stay at our guest house, with a television; complimentary tea and coffee; towels and toiletries. Wi-fi is also available in the rooms. We offer a combination of single guest rooms, doubles guest rooms, twins or a family room, including a downstairs twin guest room.

We are situated between Hill Lane and Shirley Road, about a 10-15 minute walk north of the main Central Railway Station and the nearby National Express Coach Station. Close by to the railway station is The Mayflower Theatre, with the city centre and West Quay Shopping Centre another 10 minute walk away.

The Mayflower Cruise Terminal; The City Cruise Terminal and The Queen Cruise Terminal are about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from our guest house at Landguard Lodge. The Red Funnel ferry terminal to the Isle of Wight is also within easy reach.  
 
We are also ideally situated for visiting Southampton General Hospital; The Spiral Hospital and the two city universities.

Discover old Southampton by walking the magnificent town walls, along the trail, where the pilgrims left bound for America. At the Mayflower memorial you will find the Maritime Museum where you can find out all about the past and present ocean liners that sailed out of Southampton, including the Titanic. From the Town Quay take a ferry across the water to Hythe, or further to the Isle of Wight. Along the waterfront is Ocean Village, where you can book a day trip on the water or sit and enjoy afternoon tea, a meal or just have a drink and watch the world go by. 
 
Take time to visit Southampton the entertainment capital of the South whilst staying at Landguard Lodge guest house, whether it be a visit to our art gallery or to a show at the Mayflower Theatre, Gantry Arts Centre, The Guildhall or a play at the Nuffield Theatre or Turner Simms Concert Hall. Southampton is an ideal touring base for seeing the South Coast. Journey through the picturesque New Forest, stop off at Beaulieu to visit Lord Montague's Motor Museum, onto the coast to Lymington. North are the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury. Don't miss Broadlands at Romsey. On the East of the city is the maritime heritage port of Portsmouth. Not forgetting all animal lovers, a trip to Marwell Zoo, Longdown Dairy Farm. Families would enjoy a visit to the New Forest Otter, Owl & Wildlife Park and Paultons Park, to try out over forty different attractions and rides for a day to remember.
